This home had the original 1990’s kitchen and needed a fresh update. The counter-tops and back splash were both tile, and the raised counter section really gave limited use and made the kitchen seem very small. The colors of the cabinets, walls, and floors also showed their age.

We changed this kitchen from old to WOW! We put in new granite counter-tops and new tile back splash in updated colors, and also leveled the counter. This opened up the kitchen to make it feel larger and also increased the cooking space. We painted the original cabinets and installed new hardware (very cost effective). We removed the old flooring and installed new 30 year water-proof laminate floors. This type of laminate looks and feels like real hardwood, and is very durable.
To brighten the living room, we painted all of the walls a light gray and the baseboards white. The walls and baseboards really accent the new flooring, and really make a nice statement. We continued the laminate flooring from the kitchen to the entire home for a uniform look. The high ceilings are now accented with the new paint, and the room looks bright and airy.
